| MG reserved 700-800 m of new cables (DC 400 Alu) in stock for MERIT use. |
| MG reserved the required connectors to the solenoid (bimetallic "cosse", see pictures above) and the inter-connectors from old to new cables ("manchon", no picture). |
| The price of the cables to buy is about 8 ChF/m, double for including installation not taking into account possible reductions for large quantities. The connectors some up to approx. 1kChF. |
| cables are very rigid (my guess: bending radius > 2 m) |
| Report to the collaboration, that the patch-panel has to be placed/orientated such, that it can be connected to this highly rigid cables. |

interlock

| MG provided a list (she will send it also electronically), showing all magnets, cables, and power units used for the FTN line. It also includes the interlock lines for the FTN magnets. |
